GROWING TIPS:
Use a cutting with 2-3 leaf nodes. Remove the leaves from the bottom node. Dust the end with a rooting hormone power. Bury in a good potting mix. I prefer a mix of perlite, vermiculite and sphagnum peat moss. Water thoroughly and let the soil dry out before watering again.

INSECTS--hoya plants are susceptible to mealy bugs, spider mites and aphids--spray with an insecticidal soap.
LIGHTING--bright indirect light. They can be grown indoors in a brightly lit window or outside away from direct sun. You might have to move the plant until it finds its own perfect spot.
HUMIDITY--Hoya's will tolerate low levels without harm
FERTILIZE--Hoyas are light feeders. Fertilize once a month with a balanced fertilizer such as 15-15-15. Discontinue in the winter.
TEMPERATURE--THEY DO NOT LIKE THE COLD. I HAVE LEARNED THAT IF IT DROPS BELOW 60 DEGREES--BRING IT IN!
